CLEVELAND
-- LeBron James scored 41 points, adding 11 assists and eight boards, to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 115-101 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Thursday's Game 6 of the NBA Finals in Cleveland.
Kyrie Irving chipped in with 23 points, and Tristan Thompson and J.R. Smith each found double digits with 15 and 14, respectively, to lead the Cavs in the backs-against-the-wall game.
Cleveland fired right out of the gates, outscoring Golden State by 20 in the first quarter, 31-11, and held off every charge the Warriors tried to muster.
For Golden State, Steph Curry led the way with 30 points, with Klay Thompson scoring 25 and Leandro Barbosa adding 14.
Game 7 -- the winner-take-all final -- will be played on Sunday in Oakland.
